67. Making a start (and hoping we get somewhere)

We're now approaching the end of February, the darkest days are behind us and signs of spring are showing themselves. Our first daffodils, crocuses and primroses are out and this morning I spotted frogspawn in the large pond.

Rich has been busy building another log store, we plan to have 3 altogether. That way I can sort the wood better and hopefully we'll manage to get more put away.   Rich has also been busy laying foundations for a new shed which we'll be able to keep Hector (electric vehicle) in and it'll be somewhere to store our vegetables. Also we need somewhere to put the stuff from the house. If we're going to continue work on it as we hope to this year, it'll need clearing a bit!  As usual there seems an enormous amount to do.  We're not quite at the curtains and cushions stage yet!
We're both recovering from heavy colds so haven't achieved much in the past week. Rich is going to attempt sowing tomato seeds later today. I've sown some sweet peas which are doing quite well,  so we have made a start. This winter has seemed particularly long, I can't wait for warmer, brighter weather.
